Road Trip! - July 18 - Schlotzsky's Deli - 6:00 PM

Since Wayne's Drive-in no longer has it's Tuesday Night Late Model Cruise-in, we will be moving July's Road Trip! to Schlotzsky's Deli in Menomonee Falls. They advertise free cookies and soda for all participants and have give-a-aways such as gas cards, car care buckets and other gifts every half hour. Schlotzsky's has pretty good food as well.

They are located at N88 W15515 Main Street in Menomonee Falls. I am working on parking arrangements for our group.

Hmm, this puts me in a difficult position. I wrote schlotzkys to tell them I would never visit their establishments again after being treated poorly with absolutely no resolution or response from a manager or corporate representative. That was 5 years ago at this very location.

What to do... :confused: Hmmm...

Weeelllll . . . you could maybe take along a couple of sodas or grab a burger at Murf's (ummm, in fact I'll meet you at Murf's if you go) down the street and just park in the Schlotzsky's lot with us. Then you could register for prizes and hopefully win something as payback for your bad experience to somewhat even the score.

In the end, you won't have to step foot into the restaurant and maybe even come out on the plus side of things. :beer:

Perhaps, but murf's closed a long time ago as far as I know. They had a for lease sign up last time I drove past there which was only a few months ago.

We could go across the street and hang out at Autozone. They've always been nice to me though I do spend a lot there: show and shine, tire shine, anything that shines.

That stinks. Once I remembered they were there, I was looking forward to a burger before going to Schlotzsky's. You got to do what you got to do but I hope you can make it.

Dave has private issues with Schlotzsky's and has a choice to make, lets not drag everyone else into it.

Look at it this way the manager who you had the problem can't possable work there anymore.........can they? No way there going to remember you. You can always grap a Cousins sub, there right up the road.

I have been told we will have an area for us to park as a group. I don't exactly where they're going to put us but look for me, I'll be there a little before 6 and will be in the Cobra.

If it was a personal grudge, perhaps. But this is a business grudge, the only way to retaliate is a personal boycott :D If I spend money there again, then they've won ;)

It was a beautiful night to be out. They had a full parking lot of all different types of cars and trucks. We didn't quite get the "special" parking we were promised (I think "special" to them meant we could park in the lot with everyone else, LOL) but we all made the best of it. Alan and I were winners of a couple of prizes and we made a few new friends along the way.
