Join us for a cruise to and through the Holy Hill area followed by a BBQ on Sunday, June 25.
We will meet at Griffin Ford at 11:00 AM. From here we will cruise as a group or a couple of groups, depending on attendance, to and through the scenic roads in and around the Holy Hill area. We will end our cruise at Marv & Crystal's house where we will have a picnic style BBQ.
Hope to see you there!

Chris,
How about a map to get to Marv's place in case we have to arrive later or get separated during the cruise.

Stacy and Joel will be there. Are we bringing a dish to pass again this year? I didn't see anything in any of the threads about what to bring.

Sorry I didn't mention it, bringing a dish to pass would be great.
Please PM Marv either what you would like to bring or what Crystal would prefer you bring to avoid duplication of food items.

Glad to hear you're coming to the cruise and BBQ! Please bring lawnchairs if possible. Marv is supplying the grilled food and cold beverages, and I'm making a couple salads and a couple desserts. If you want to bring a dish to pass, you're welcome to bring your favorite creation, but it's not required.
Please note: there is no charge for the food and beverages. We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday (and hope the sun will join us too)!
Crystal.

Tracy and I will be there, but likely not for the cruise as we have another function to attend in the morning. What time do you expect to arrive at the house after the cruise?

It was an gorgeous day with almost 2 dozen cars choosing to join us. Thanks to Terry Horst the route was a masterful collection of twists and turns taking almost almost 2 hours to complete. Of particular note was the Dairy Farm pasture portion where the cars received many admiring looks from the girls.
Marv and Crystal who hosted our destination BBQ as well as providing the food and beverages where the perfect hosts and to whom I extend our collective appreciation and thanks. Please be sure to extend a your own thanks to them when you see them next.
Concluding the day Joel demonstrated how to play the Fox in a game of Fox and Hounds. To initiate the game Joel began with a demonstration of the awesome engine that Marv built for his Lightning. With the scent of burning rubber and smoke in the air no more than a minute or two passed and a law enforcement officer appeared to give chase. Although I had to leave prior to the conclusion of the game it appeared the Fox was the likely winner being not only quicker than the pursuit car (a V6 Impala) but also smarter utilizing natural cover (a residential garage).

I hate to say that I am sorry that it turned out to be a great day, butttttt. I left my house at 8:00 in the morning to be there by 11:00 and low and behold it started to rain, and we had had rain and hail all night so I had to make a rash decission and I decided that if I committed to come, it may follow me all the way there and I really do not like the hail thing. So we turned around and went home, bummer. Linda and I were really looking forward to seeing everyone again too. Just a big thanks to Marv and Crystal for offering up their home again and hope to see everyone next time:beer: I really am glad that it turned out nice
I am going to start a post for input on the fall Dells trip so any ideas pass them on:thumbs:

Thank you for not coming? No way! Missed your attendance and hope you can make it down for one of our chapter events this year. Or better yet, maybe you can make it to one of the remaining track events. Gingerman is coming up in July and Road America in August is not that far away.
