This will be our 4th Icebreaker event and it should be our biggest ever. In addition to the advertised presentations and feature vehicles in the flyer you received in the mail, we will have a few surprises for everyone.
The Northwoods Shelby Club will begin car show registration at 9 AM with all cars judged by 1 PM. Car show trophy presentation will begin about 2 PM. Speaker presentations will begin about 11 AM and will go through about 2 PM. A variety of vendors will be on hand throughout the day and the folks from Second Harvest will be cooking up some great food for donations (all food provided by Griffin Ford).
There should be something for everyone, hope to see you there.

And also remember, anyone coming from the Fox Cities area is more than welcome to meet at Bergstrom Ford in Neenah at 7:45 a.m. and we will be leaving at 8:30 a.m. SHARP!! Hope to see some of you there for the convoy down. Look for me in the Red Lightning.
Thanks and see you all this weekend! :rkon:

It will be fun, can't wait !!
I will probably bring my car (but not for the show) so I hope there is decent safe parking.

BlueOvalBolt's Hot Tip of the Week
Mike, I think you will find that show parking is your best bet. ;) It may cost you a $5 donation to Second Harvest but you can then enjoy the festivities without worry.

What a great turnout. Well over 100 I would guess. May need more room in the future.

We had 113 come through the gate with 100 eligible for judging which I think is great. Between show registration fees, food sales (food donated by Griffin Ford), raffle ticket sales and merchandise sales we were able to donate enough money to Second Harvest to buy 7 tons of food which converts to 15,000 meals.
Great work everyone.

That was a fun show, it was nice to meet a few of you, not that it wasn't nice to meet the rest of you, but I don't know who is who

Yeah, we have to figure out a way for members of this site (and other local sites for that matter) to identify each other easier. I get frustrated in seeing posts by people that were there that I wanted to meet.
Well, we have a year to work on that one.

Well they had "nametags for members" right on the main table. But no one was wearin 'em that i noticed.

Well, for anyone to know me, I would have had to put on a tag that read: "Dave99GT" which I would have felt goofy wearing...
I was out there for a short time, it was great to meet Marv. I was really impressed with all the nice looking cars!!
Hope everyone got out of there before the hail storm hit.

I live in Brookfield, we had a brief hailstorm at about 3:30. Fast and furious, 1/4 inch size pellets.

We need something more noticable, something that separates the groups we want to get together easier. Something that identifies those who know ahead of time that we are looking to meet them.

Back in the dial-up modem BBS days we had baseball caps made with the name of the group and our screen names embroidered on the back... granted we were all a bunch of high school computer guys with nothing better to do than play doom all the damn time :D
