Is anyone from the Club coming to run the Mile Father's Day weekend? They have opened it up to all makes of vehicles and non-members because of low registration. Sounds like gobs of track time to me?!?!

Lots of track time and Saturday Night Mr. Pork Chop will be there. If you haven't met Mr. Pork Chop this is your opportunity. In fact, if you don't rum but you are member of Northwoods you can meet him and sample the great food he offers.

Not a member of Northwoods? Membership which is required to participate in the event is $40 for the first year and $20 thereafter. However, for this event Northwoods has offered any SVTOA member who participates, first year membership for $20.

An important note - they are not doing same day registration at all. All entrants must be pre-registered.

:hrs: Thanks for the publicity guys! Actually we are planning on accepting same day registrants for this event. Becuase this event is "touring" onlly, and much smaller than our Elkhart Lake event, we will have the resources to register and tech people. This will only be available until 8:30 am on Saturday. The drivers' meeting is at 8:45 and first car off is at 9 am. We are also waiving membership requirements for this event only and will have a special run group for convertibles with no roll bars.

Mark:

Will those times also apply to Sunday? Is there anywhere we can peek at the run schedule?

See you Saturday!!! Looks like the weather is going to be perfect?!?!

Thanks,

Bruce

I cannot make it this weekend, I am bummed because I would love to run my convertible (w/o rollbar) on the track!

Bruce, sorry I didn't get back to you right away. We don't have run groups scheduled. The event is too new for us to predict. Your group will start at 9 and the 9-5 time is for both days. We are only taking 1/2 hour lunch break (at noon). I expect that you will be able to get at least 5 sessions in each day!!!:bna:

Marv:

I hope you're learning all the tuning tricks down there?!?!;)

I've got a bunch of riders lined up (as usual) but Gary makes it sound like it's going to be a "run all you want" kind of an event because of the light turn-out? So Bring your helmet, I'm sure we can squeeze a session in here or there?!!?
