My wife and my oldest son drove my Cobra to the cruise. We left early on friday and arrived about noon. It rained almost all the way. It stopped raining when we arrived. That after noon we checked out Woodward ave,we drove up and down Woodward about 15 miles. There were many cars cruiseing already. We went to a all Mustang show at 9 mile road and desplayed the Cobra. The street was closed traffic, and lined with all Mustangs of all years. A 2003 Mach 1 was driven and parked as well as12 to15 03 Cobras.:)On friday night SVTOA had picnic for SVtoa members at Fords Mustang Drive In.We had a great time with SVTOA and watching the cruiseing which by this time was very busy almost bumper to bumper 4 lanes in each direction. :D Good news about 10 Mustangs to 1 Camaro. Saturday was the day of the cruise which they say is the largest one day auto event and I believe it. cars of every make and model cruising from 8 am to 11 pm. Woodward Cruise had over 30000 cars and 1.5 millon people attended. SVTOA had parking for us on saturday, this was a big help due to the crowd. We met SVTOA members from all over the U.S. and Canada, one couple was from New Orleans. We saw so many Fords and Mustangs its hard to discribe and photos don\'t do it justice. I would like to thank the people at SVTOA for their help making this a more enjoyable event for us. Maybe we should do this event as a WISVTOA group outing. Remember next June is Fords 1 00th and also a SVT event!! Its not to early to start planning a WISVTOA road trip to Dearborn.:sP.S. I will attempt to attach a photo of friday night event.Curt
