Since there is no racing or Packers on TV, I might go to this.

Sorry, I forgot that Latin translation.

With nothing planned for the day, I took the back roads to Victor Ford. It really isn't too far across the border. Interestingly, Fox Lake Ford is just up the road and is also a SVT dealer.

The Northern Illinois SVTOA held their open house inside Victor's truck dealership. Small, but nice facility. They still have 3 Cobra 'verts and about the same number of Foci. And one really BIG mean black HD F350 crew cab, on $6500 worth of lift, wheels and tires.

On display were two N20 Saleen Foci. Sharp cars - I always like Saleen's add-ons and wheels. However, I didn't care for the "boss" stripe on the side, nor the add-on late-model Mustang GT hood scoop. Yes, they do come with a NOS bottle. All for $25k.

The S281 Saleen Mustang was held up "at the factory". I forgot to ask where that was. Still in Cali?

One member previewed his orange 04 Cobra. It was totally set-up for street and open track by what I imagine everything that Kenny Brown sells. Very sweet.

One thing I learned about a raffle: Tickets sell like crazy when the sponsoring dealer kicks in a $100 gift certificate!. Tickets were $2.50, or 5 for $10. I kicked in ten and was "lucky" enough to win a size M Victor shirt. Do you think Griffin Ford would mind if I regifted this baby at our Ice Breaker? :D :cbra:
