squeeky belt too

I think I'm having the same problem as you guys, I also have underdrive pulleys.... Is a belt change suggested ???? :bash:

Mine would come and go but eventually came to stay and a belt change was the only thing that fixed it. My car has less then 8000 miles too!

Make sure you clean the grooves in the pulleys real good. They like to pick up little pieces of rubber, dirt and the like. It gets trapped way down in bottom of the grooves. Use a little pick or screwdriver to clean all the pulleys (alt, crank, power steering, ac comp.) or the squeal will return shortly even with a new belt. Marv Z :beer:
