Shop Talk - November 17 - Griffin Ford - 6:30 PM

The new 05 Mustang GT will be the topic for this month. At the time of this posting, Griffin still did not get theirs yet they should arrive soon.

If it is not sold by the time we meet, we will have it back in the shop for inspection and test drives. As usual, Griffin will provide us with pizza and soda (thanks John :thumbs: ) so come in and see Ford's new generation Pony car.

I would line it up for several test drives.
I usually turn down the test drives....but not this one.

I mean c'mon.....its a Mustang!

Since that is my mother's birthday, the only challenge is how do I get there...

My plane from Indy, via Detroit, arrives at GMIA at 7:30.

If I'm lucky, I'll be there in time for pizza!

BTW, I fly to PHX the next day. I plan on attending the Good Guys Hot Rod show in Scottsdale. Many cars from the west coast come for this one.

Well, I have a little bad news. We will not be able to test drive the GT as it has 195 test drive miles on it already and a new state law says that a car with over 200 miles on it must be sold as a USED car. So since Griffin does not wish to sell an 05 as used, we will not be able to drive it. However, we can start it up to listen and it will be back in the shop for us to look over.

We will have a V6 with less miles on it that will be available for test drives though.
