Went 12\'s on motor first time at the track with new motor...

Last night I went to Great Lakes Dragaway to do some testing and tuning with my new 347 combo. While the results were a little less then I had been expecting, I was happy to run 12\'s on motor only. There\'s a lot more in the combo, and I have some mis-matched parts I need to address, but it still is respectable to get a 3650 pound car to run in the 12-second zone on a radial tire with no power adder.

I need to get a better exhaust system and intake inlet, as the ones I have now are really limiting the potential of my 347 combo. While slapping on a set of slicks would put me deep into the 12\'s, I think I\'d rather be able to do that on stock tires, so I will keep working at it...

347 was that you in the no time lane on Saturday? I saw a red 94/95 Cobra with the no time marker on the back window,when I was in the staging lanes.I believe there was also another red Cobra in the pits parked next to a bunch of 5 liter \'stangs.Which one were you?I was the only black \'99 Cobra there.I hate that track, they prep it for sh*t.My best 60ft was a no hooking 2.38.Someday I\'m gonna put some D/Rs on that thing and see what she\'ll really do.:D :s
