Shop Talk is back once again every third Wednesday as the weather gets cooler. This month's topic will be the newest offering from Ford - the Five Hundred. We may well have a new Freestyle in by that time as well to check out.

Pizza and soda will be supplied by Griffin Ford so come down and join us to check out the new vehicles and to to talk some shop with other members.

Hope to see you there! :)

EDIT: We may have an 05 Mustang on hand, they are enroute to Griffin.

What's the ETA on the 05 Mustangs - did they come in yet? Think they'll be here in time for tomorrow night's shop talk?

Sorry, no Mustang GT for tonight but Pete has the window sticker for the one on the way. It's black on black and has every option except the big stereo system. Pete has brochures for those interested.

Well, we had a great turnout, had to be 20 to 25 that came. There were probably 4 or 5 new people who showed which is always nice.

Featured guests were John Griffin, new General Manager of Griffin who introduced himself to the group (thanks for the pizza and soda John!). Roger Brace from Pirelli was there who was nice enough to bring some hats along for the gang. He also had one his famous Pirelli calendars that was given away in a drawing. And last, but not least, Rick (sorry don't have your last name) was there who had some great billet license plate frames that he makes. These were of high quality and certainly generated some interest from the group.

The 500 was available for inspection and test drives. Overall, a very nice car at, what I consider to be, a great price. Lots of room and available in AWD.

We talked about coming events such as Drag Day II on the 30th, the next Shop Talk on November 20th, and the all important Annual Meeting on December 12th.

The only thing the 500 needs is that 3.5L that Ford has been promising.

:)

On different note, I couldn't make it to the shop talk since I had too much school stuff to do (what else is new :P?).
