This month our Road Trip! takes us down to Greater Milwaukee's south side in Oak Creek where Georgie Porgie's has a weekly cruise-in on Saturday nights. They have music in the lot and serve some great drive-in style food. This event is popular with the classic car bunch but you will find that all types of cars and trucks are welcome.

Georgie Porgie's is located at 9555 South Howell Avenue on the corner of Howell Avenue and Ryan Road. Here is a map if you haven't been here before:

Last year we had quite the showing from the Lightning owners, I think it was 10 that showed up. Let's see if we can't see the same numbers from Cobra, Contour and Foci owners this year.

Let's try to get together on the east lawn again this year. It seemed to be a pretty good spot to gather.

Hope to see you there. :shft

I'll be there.... this is my 'hood :)

Not sure on the music though. I've only made it there twice this year and I don't remember if there was music or not but I do know the guy who did music last year wasn't going to continue though someone else might've picked up in his place.

Anyways, as last year I will try to be there at about 4:30 or so to secure the "grassy knoll" ;)

Is this rain or shine Chris?
Cause if it's raining there will probably be plenty of room in the lot instead of the grass/mud.

I wasn't aware fo the music complications, I just assumed it would be like year. Maybe there won't be music.

It's rain or shine as far as I am concerned. We have pop-up tents if it rains.

Hi all,

It was a good time last night for those of you that made it. We really had some good conversations. Let's see there was a good topic about the schwala "I have no idea if I spelled that right" and then there was how much food animal could eat in 30 min. Of cource there was Joel and his Nova stories and of cource we got to reminise about Chris's head spinning when the topic of car washes came up. And then there was my problem with what to do with my four balls; you had to be there to get that one. :knock:
