Soeren's Car Show - Wisconsin Ford Club - July 25 - 8:00 AM

For those not going to GingerMan this weekend, the Wisconsin Ford Club will be hosting the annual car show at Soeren's Ford on Sunday.

They will have an SVT class with trophies for 1st through 3rd which are awarded by participant voting. Registration starts at 8:00 AM and trophies are usually awarded about 3 PM.

i want to join the wisconsin chapter i have already joined the svtoa will there be a sign up at the soerens show or do i have to wait for another event?

All the officers with chapter registrations will be at the GingerMan event this weekend but don't let that stop you from attending the Soerens show; there will other club members to meet up with on Sunday. We can get you signed up on August 26 at our cruise-in at Georgie Porgies. :thumbs:

Joel had his L there and I had my Cobra. There was another guy there with a gray '03 Cobra (not sure if he is in our club, but Joel knew him). There were a half a dozen SVT Focus's, but I think they were in the Sport Compact Class. 2 or 3 other Cobra's were scattered around the lot. Everyone from the SVT Class left by 12:45. With only three vehicles in the class, it seems we all would have gotten a trophy had we hung around. What is the protocol if a winner has left the show? Phone#'s were not asked for at registration, so....
They claimed to have record partipation, 331 cars is what I had heard. The lot was pretty full. Seemed more organized the year, but the SVT's were in the same spot.
It was pretty enjoyable show. Weather was comfortable, there were a lot of nice cars, I spent about 2.5 hours there.

I'm surprised that only 3 showed. Did you see a Mystic 96 there? He is member of SVTOA and I think is an officer of the Wisconsin Ford Club that ran the event. Was Bill (Bee) there?


I'm surprised they did not take phone numbers as they will usually call trophy winners that were not there at the time of presentation. Maybe they will be mailing notices instead. :wtf:

Did not see the '96 Mystic, it won last year, I think. Yes, Bill was there, did not see his truck though.

i was at the show and so was my dad he has his 65 shelby replica there. he is a member of the wisconsin chapter. he also had his boss 351 and my mom had her 1966 coupe. i had my 70 mach 1 there. it was grabber orange there was one there that parked next to me the same color he had the shaker hood. he was stock so i know mine was faster. =)
