Did anyone go to the Champ Car Race last Saurday evening? Mike and I did - Thanks for the tickets, Mike!

Actually, the race was a complete blow-out. At least one of the two Americans that was entered, WON.

Of course, a Ford (Cosworth) won, as it was the engine of choice in all 18 cars. The best part....the field was paced by a Lightning and two 2003 Cobra Mustangs. They were really hustling on the restarts. Funny thing, the first half of the race was paced by two dudes dressed in full safety gear, in a Redfire Cobra coupe. The second half was paced by two babes (nice hair!), without helmets, in a Sonic Blue Cobra 'vert :wtf:

BTW, the infield still has not been paved. The new pits are nice, despite a very narrow entry. The new vertical scoreboard is OK. Actually, the scoreboard at PowerCom Park is bigger.
:p

Is anyone going to the upcomming Tuesday show at Beaver Dam PowerCom Park to see Tony Stewart? My ex-college roommate (former owner of a 427 Galaxie) is racing a 408 c.i.d. FORD IMCA modified that night. Tony better bring his best Brand X power plant. :D
