Road Trip! - May 26 - 6:30 PM - Griffin Ford - Kiltie Tour

This month's Road Trip! takes us to the popular traditional style Drive-In, The Kiltie in Oconomowoc.

We will meet at Griffin Ford at 6:30 PM and cruise as a group (or a couple of groups depending on attendance) through the back roads of Waukesha County by way of a route designed by our favorite route engineer, Terry.

Aww man .. it's 7:20 pm right now and I just saw the convoy of Mustangs and Lightnings on the way back from my cello lessons in Waukesha. They were turning out onto HWY 18 from the north. I was gonna try and catch up so I could honk and wave but I didn't really want to get a speeding ticket just to say hi. (I was going about 65 in a 45 just and wasn't really gaining ground on them ..) (Wasn't about to spoil the eye candy with my beat up 89 Sable lol .. couldn't keep up anyways)

It's a shame I had to miss this, but I've been pretty busy with school. Maybe I can catch the next one. Hope you guys have fun.

I could tell that some of them got on it though! I had my windows shut and I could smell that raw fuel smell that new cars give off when you floor em :)

Weather was great, route was great as usual Terry, had a little bit of everything out (Cobras, L's, GT's, a Thunderbird) and we had a visitor from the Twin Cities Chapter. All in all a good event. Adam, you and your Sable are welcome to join us anytime.
