Since Spring, I noticed that the driver's side window would squeal when it went down. The 01 Cobra is still eligible for warranty, so I decided to have Griffin Ford repair the window. I made an appointment for a fix during our October 22 Shop Talk meeting. Well, I drove the car quite a bit that month, and to my delight the noise went away. To play it safe, I rescheduled another "fix" appointment during our November 19 Shop Talk meeting. Again, the noise was absent, so I canceled my appointment. Cool - the car fixed itself. :D
On the way home, I tried the window. Unbelievably, the squeal returned. :confused: :o :( :mad: :bash:
Soon, the car will be stored. Warranty will expire this winter. (I have an early number). The SVT techy question of the week... is there a way to get rid of the squeal without removing the door panel? :wtf:
