Wipers wont stop!

My1991 Mustang G.T. windshield wipers continue to operate
even with the wiper switch turned off. I had to pull the fuse in order to get them to stop running. Any one have this same problem or know how I can correct it?

Sounds like a bad motor or switch, more likely the switch. Any advice from our Master Mechanics? :)

I believe that it is the switch too. Is the switch part of the multifunction stalk and will I have to replace the entire stalk??
