Thursday evening, August 21 we are getting together at Griffin Ford in Waukesha for another "tour" through western Waukesha County. Since it is beginning to get dark early, let's meet at Griffin by 6:15 pm. I would like to leave at 6:30 for the Kiltie. This time, I promise it won't rain - so no rainbows will be in order. :)
Who plans to be there?

Caroline will be in the house. It may just be her last cruise on these stupid no-hook street tires :)
New rubber is on the way for me :D

Great idea but I just called my favorite Rent-a-Girlfriend service and they are fresh out of girlfriends for short chubby guys on Thursday. :(
Will my life size doll I use for the getting through the multi-passenger lane on freeway ramps be ok?

Gosh, that's a little personal Dick don't ya think. What goes on between a man and his doll in the privacy of his SVT is his own business.
I'll tell you this much though, I never get the "Are you sure you know where you're going?" line. :p

Thats what I hear all the time. And after I hear it I generally have to turn around and go the right way.
Sorry for being so personal.
Hope that we can make it Thursday. Have a few things to do so it all depends.

Is bruce gonna make it to one as well? We haven't seen much of him this summer.
This isn't a car show so we'll let you come.

I unfortunately will not be able to make this one. I have a Track Time Driving School at Road America next week Wednesday and Thursday and I have to put on my new pedals plus make a new throttle bracket to reposition my gas pedal to heel and toe a little better. The "R" and the SHO are both up on jack stands. I have more stuff taken apart than I can shake a stick at right now.
I hope to make the next one though. I still have your steering wheel!

Well, you do have more "history" than I on this subject LOL but I can testify that it has been my experience that Terry always keeps his promises. ;)

And they all stayed in line. ;)
This time, we took a northern loop into the Kiltie. The evening was perfect, despite the fact that this was the hottest day of the year. A good thing the cool front came through during the afternoon. [Notice to all: I kept my promise on the weather :p ]
But, it didn't end there! Scott Moen of the Early Mustangers Club gave us a tour of his Mustang Memorabilia Collection. This was great. He had many model kits, die-cast dispays, toys, apparel, posters, literature, pins, etc. It was all displayed very tastefully. He even showed us SVT press kits in Japanese.
Thanks to Mike for setting this up, and to Scott for the great hospitality.

Sorry I missed the cruise, but I was involved with a project. It sounds like it was a fun time. Terry finally came up with good weather for the kilte cruise:bna:
