I know the calendar said we were going to Wayne's Drive In on Thursday the 17th but the traditional Thursday night shows have historically been geared more towards the classic car crowd and provide limited parking for the late models. However, Greg alerted us to the fact that Wayne's is now starting to feature late models every Tuesday night beginning this coming Tuesday. Tuesday night's show format will be the same as Thursday's with music, prize drawings, and food giveaways.
So we thought what better way to kick off the new Tuesday tradition, at what they descibe as a "Classic American Drive In," than with a strong showing of some "Classic American Late Model Muscle" courtesy of the WISVTOA. Greg is arranging reserved parking for us and Wayne's always puts on a great show so it promises to be a great event.
Go to http://www.foodspot.com/waynes/index.html for a map to Wayne's and to see what's on their menu.
Sorry for the late change in plan but we think it will be a change for the better overall. Hope to see you Tuesday the 15th at Wayne's!! :)

Chris,
I'll bring the AMSOIL certificate in case you want to do something with it at this event. Should see what kind of turnout we get first I guess.
Hope the weather is good!

Thanks for bringing that up Mark.
We have an Amsoil gift certificate left over from the Ice Breaker (what was it Mark, good for a case of oil?) that we would like to give away at an event like this one at Wayne's.
So, in addition to the Wayne's giveaway's (I won $10 in Wayne's food last time I was there!), we will have our own special drawing amongst ourselves, if attendance is good enough, like a minimum of 10 members, for this great prize.
Hope to see everyone there!

Greg, I just noticed your post. That's what I typed in originally for info but it took me to the foodspot.com page.
Thanks for the address of the "cool" page.

Chris,
It is for an oil and filter change in an SVT vehicle before the end of the year. I know a couple of guys have "NICE" non SVT vehicles. We are certainly flexible on this but, we do not want to do the oil change on "JUNK" (ie: '87 Escort with 200K on it), you get the idea. It's OK with me if we give it away at a different eventif turn out is low.
thanks,
Mark

Sweet Bruce. If you remember, throw that steering wheel in whatever car you're going to bring.

Not sure if I'll be making it or not. I am going to be moving throughout the course of the week. If it's nice, then I can probably use it to move some stuff. But we'll see.
