I am still trying to get the EFI injection set up and tune up. I had been fighting a vacumme leak?? My EFI unit is a MAP controle unit, so if the vaccume reading are low, the system is running rich. I have orignal found that when I took off the upper intake unit, that around the back three ports there was mosture on the spacer unit . along with the pcv valve had poped out of its holder. I thought that I was pulling in high levels of hydrocarbons into the intake. Plugs 4 7 & 8 were black compared to the rest.
I have used a sealer between the spacer on both sides. I also have by passed the EGR valve. now my vaccume reading are on the normal to high side. at idle 13 - 16 vs the 5 to 6 origanly.
I ran the car at high way speeds and when I pulled the plugs. both cly 4 & 8 are darker and wet. all the rest look ok. The motor run fine?? any Idias???
