Wisconsin Rapids Cruise and Car Show

This is billed as the largest cruise in the state. Police block streets and residents line the route to view the cars. It would be great if we could get a group together. It would give the Milwaukee crowd a chance to head north fo a change. Although hosted by the corvette club (Nice to see an 03 to make em sweat a bit:) ) there are many other very nice rides.

The cruise starts Saturday, 8/2 at 6PM promptly. The first arrivals start showing up at the school around 3:30 - 4PM, the big crowd starts coming around 5PM. .

Sunday, the car show registration is 9AM - 1PM, with awards at 4PM. More info is on thier club website:www.corvettesofthenorth.com

Is there any interest in this? We could all cruise up together but it would require a overnight stay. Might be hard to find a place to stay.

Sounds like fun and wish I could go but I'm booked for August. :(

The show is good but not different that most other shows. Might get a little late but does not require the overnighter

Now, why does everything have to happen during Oshkosh?
Its only 1 week....yet there are like a dozen things going on.

I'll be at Oskosh fri. I'm an EAA member have'nt missed one in 6 years, but I'm up for the Rapids Sat. too:D If enough go>

Didn't realize EAA was coming so soon. Where is the summer going so fast?
