The skyway sucked! It was torn up for miles and was down to one lane. Took the 294 on the way home and got back in 4 1/2 hours... :D

Being a truck driver, I knew better + took 294 both ways. Great photos, Greg!

Try 14 hours. Why would Indiana tie up 2 major west bound interstates at the same time?

Last wed. we made it to Dearborn in under 5 hrs. However on the way home we took 294 and it took 7&1/2. Traffic on 294 was awefull. I would not live in the Windy City for any reason what so ever.
On a better note the Ford 100th was a outstanding event. It was a treat to see all the great racing cars and drivers. It brings back some fine memorys. I went to many races in the 60s and 70s, State Fair Park,Indy, Road America. I think it was the golden age of motorsports, drivers could drive any type of vehicle. It was also a great time to be a Ford racing fan.:)

It was truly a trip of a lifetime. Many cars that I have only seen in magazines. Never thought I'd see the day when Boss 429's were common.:D

For me it was fantastic, I saw it from different sides- a participant as well as from the admin side of things with regard to SVTOA. I had a great talk with Tom Scarpello, spent a ton of quality time with my son, and got to hang out in the media center at FWHQ. Trip of a lifetime, no question. I bleed Ford blue, this was quite a treat and I'm glad Mike Tagtow motivated me to go! I also want to thank Jim Sawyer and Tom Scarpello for treating me so well and making me feel like I'm somebody... :D

What a great time we all had. The picture of us in the back of Jeffs Lightning brings back memorys. Thanks for all the neat pics Greg.
Just got home from the hospital today. Had my back operated on Tuesday. Had to wait till after the 100th. If u missed it u missed a lot. What nice people we met there. Worth every $$.
Hope to see everyone at the next outing if the Doc. clears me to drive by then.
