Our 2nd Summer Road Trip will be Wednesday, June 18 when we be getting together at Pistol Pete’s Restaurant in Brookfield at 6:00 PM.

Pistol Pete’s has been holding an informal car show on Wednesday nights in their parking lot for about 3 years now. They attract all makes and models of American cars, (imports are not welcome). While it’s called a “car show,” there is no judging or trophies and what you have and how it looks is really secondary to just getting together with some car guys and talking cars. It is a very easy going atmoshere here.

We will have parking set aside specifically for us in the lot and PP’s offers food and drink specials to show participants. Hopefully, at least some of those that attended the 100th will be able to come to tell some tales of their trip.

Pistol Pete’s is at 16755 West Lisbon Road. Although our event time is 6:00 PM, coming early for pizza or something is not a problem as I will be there early by 5:00 myself. Hope to see you there as I think a good time will be had by all.

(Posting if you are coming would be helpful but not a requirement to attend).

Sounds like a plan Chris! :D It's on my calendar. Maybe it won't be raining and I can bring Brenda (the '66) out? :bna:

See you all there!

I'm in. I'm hoping to have new tires, brakes, alignment, and all the storage bugs worked out of my 66 stang by then as well. My goal is to bring it to the Borchardt show on Father's day, so if I make that, she'll be ready for PPs... if it rains I'll probably still come down in the L after work.

Hmm, no imports??? Technically mine is an import, since it is made in Mexico with British, French, and German sourced parts. At the same time, I think they are implying "no rice", which my car doesn't fall into. I'll still show up, just to see some cool old cars.:)

Your Blue Oval gets you a free pass. ;) There will be all years of cars their. With warmer weather forcasted for next week , I think that will really bring everyone out since it has been so cold just about every Wednesday night so far.
