Well, it's not exactly a past chapter event for all of you yet (officially) .. but for me it is. I took about 33 pictures while I was there and my brother has some more (I'll upload those when they're ready). My camera is kinda old, but I took them on high res and resized so they are alright. I cropped them so they load faster. My brother's camera is obviously quite a bit better (the clearer pics towards the bottom).

DOHC 281: No problem man! You guys rule - that event was awesome .. way more people showed up than I was expecting. Even my dad liked it (he's more into older cars) ...

I really like how SVTOA accepts non SVT cars in it as well because it kinda mixes things up a bit. SVTs are awesome and stuff to look at, but I bet since you guys all drive SVTs it's fun to have a little variety at the shows every once and a while (the Galaxie, the Fairlanes, Torino, Falcon, T-Bird, etc.).

Do you know who owns that 427 Galaxie sleeper with all the interior deletes? My dad and I were really interested in knowing where he got such clean bumpers from (we own a 64 which we are fixing up .. you guys are prolly gettin sick of me saying that ;) ).

Wish I could join you all on the cruise on Wednesday, but I'm afraid that I am too busy with my sophomore year in high school since the teachers are cramming everything in before exams :rolleyes:

Nice pics! It took awhile to load though , and I've got a dsl line. You got 2 of my red Lightning:D . You must have been later in the day, there was another red one next to me and a black one with all the goodies under the hood :) . Had a great time !Nice to meet everyone!

Actually I wasn't later in the day, I came at 11:00 when the event started and stayed until about 12:30 or so.

And yeah, it does take a while to load. But I thought it would be worth the load time since they are pretty high quality (about 150k a piece actually .. that's about 6 megs of pics ;)).

Might sound kinda weird - but dude I think I saw you on my street Sunday! Did you by chance go down Scuppernong Valley Court and just go down the road and turn around in the culdasac? I didn't have my glasses on so I couldn't tell if it was an SVT or not but a red hathback Focus came on my road that looked like an SVT to me. It also sounded like an SVT when it took off (I could hear that it was revving pretty high on HWY 83 :).

If it was you (and it very well could be, since I see you're from Waukesha) .. my house was the first white one with people standing at the top of the driveway and there were a couple of cars around as well. (We had a graduation party for my sister.)

When I saw that Focus I chuckled to myself that someone from SVTOA was scouting me out since I posted pictures of our Galaxie .. but I didn't honestly think so :) (Lots of people from this board know where I live without knowing it though .. )

BTW: Nice Focus! I looked at it up close at the show and was very impressed.

No, i worked all day Sunday, but I do drive alot around town. I live off of Springdale, by the Elk's Club, if you know where that is.

Thanks for the compliments, it was a little dirty on Saturday, since I haven't had much time to detail it lately. it isn't a trailer queen anyway!:)
