I have the following parts from a 98 EO SVT Contour
-Midnite blue seats, front and back with the rear sides
-Midnite blue Door panels(Driver side is ripped)
-Midnite blue dash and assorted dash pieces should all be there
-rear window glass...also one door glass
-various door gaskets and a ton of nuts and bolts
-Door hinges and associated wiring, Have to check about door locks and power window regulators
-I maybe forgetting some stuff...I do not have side skirts or bumper covers. PM me or IM and we can talk pricing. I would prefer not to have to ship this stuff but some of it is small enough to ship.

I'll bet you don't have a console with cup holders that aren't broken!

Tony, since you are our resident 'tour expert, what would you do in my shoes? I have a 1995 Moonlight Blue V6 SE (auto) at my daughter's house in Tempe AZ, with a broken motor. I bought it new (Griffin Ford!) and it has 127K miles. On one hand, I would like to keep the car since it has recent front wheel axle carrier bearings, tires, struts and shocks, water pump, exhaust, alternator and battery. On other hand, I don't "need" the car since I'm SURE that my Taurus will go one more winter (again). [I'm in denial - OK, maybe I will need different wheels next winter.]

I see 3 options:
One: Give it to charity, and write it off.
Two: Sell the 'tour "as is", maybe get $500.
Three: Have my daughter hire someone to install a junkyard motor, for ~$2000 total, then drive it home.

Current value in running condition is about $2800. What would you do?

First off I have 2 midnite blue consoles in excellent shape:D I guess it all depends on the shape of the car. If it was mint and had a good body I'd maybe keep it or part it out. I guess it's upto you because I myself would probably do a motor swap to another 2.5L or a 3L:D Just remember my perspective is alittle different then yours. I'd probably keep it if it was in good shape and do a motor swap myself. You could always get a motor, swap it out, and put a turbo on it:D :D :D :D Just kidding It all depends on the shape of the car. If it isn't rusting and the body is straight I'd try to swap a motor into it. I myself just stripped another SVT down. I got it super cheap with no motor roof or good body panels. But it had all the interior pieces in it and they where all in good shape and the suspension was decent too:) The garage is overflowing with parts now and I finally got my SVT outta the garage and started it up. It purrs like a kitten now really smooth. I just have to finsih the brake sand bleed them and then put the interior back in it. I was hjoping to drive it to this months meet but that won't happen. I'm friggin sick again and I'm susposed to race on Sunday at Aztalan but that won't happen now:mad: Well maybe I'll see you on Wednesday If I can make it.:D :)
