Hi, I'm new to the forum! I live in waukesha and I've owned a 2002 Infra-Red SVT Focus since October '02. She's number 1803, and I call her Carmen.:) If there are any other Waukeshiites here, you've probably seen me around with my girlfriend or driving like a nut. I'm also an SCCA member. Do you guys have any cool events in the summer like going to Blackhawk or Road America or the Grove? I'm proud of my baby and love all things SVT. :beer:

Hi Jason,

No need to be driving Carmen around Waukesha "like a nut" as you will be happy to learn that we will be having events at both Blackhawk (which has been completely repaved this year, woo hoo!) and GLD which has and continues to make significant track and pit area improvements.

The Blackhawk event will be held in conjuction with the Great Lakes Sport Car Club hosting a high speed AX and Wheel-to-Wheel event the last weekend of September and our Chapter will be the primary sponsor of the Fun Ford Day on August 10 at GLD.

Hope to meet you at the next Shop Talk on March 19th so we can talk about these and other upcoming events further.

Welcome to our group, hope that you will be able to make it to some of our meetings, take a look at our clanidar to see whats happing this month. shop talk on 19 then in April will have a detaing work shop on Apr 5th at 1 pm. you also should get up wilth wardawg, he had his focus at last months shop talk. Should see some of his upgrades. If you click on "view my pictures" it will take you to the picture gallery and you can see his focus there and you can post some of you pictures.
