Sorry but the date has changed to April 5th, :knock: I hope my mistake doesn't cause problems for anyone who was planning to attend.

This workshop is geared towards how to maximize the appearance of your clearcoated vehicle, generally some late 80's and nearly all early 90’s and up.

We will cover in depth the 5 universal basics of car care in the workshop:

1. Washing
2. Cleaning
3. Polishing
4. Protecting
5. Maintaining

Learning how to incorporate these concepts into your regular vehicle maintenance routine will consistently produce a great looking vehicle with that “deep wet look” we all dream of. I think you will be surprised how easy it is to achieve “show quality” results with a minimum investment of time and money. This is one event that will give you tips you can use for the rest of your life no matter what kind vehicle you own.

Hope to see you there!

xbnch - The date for the workshop was changed from 3/22 to 4/5. The event on the 19th is Shop Talk at Griffin which remains unchanged.

Thanks Marv but I was going to use a car off the lot for demonstration, hopefully one that has been sitting outside for good long while.

I owe you one anyway. ;)

Thanks for the fast response. Being down in this heat in Florida we don't do things that fast. Here it is 10 AM & its 82 degrees already. Its suppose to be 85 for the next 5 days too.
We will be back in 18 days so please make sure it warms up there so we can show off our tans & not freeze.

Its great up here today also, The sun is out, its in the upper 40tys, you dont even need a sweter or coat. It would be a nice day for a drive, if I had the car running.
Donw ther you have to start worrying about taking the car for a drive, it my overheat!!!! HAHA. Enjoy while you can. The weather should be real nice when you get back up here.

Thanks for the info. but if it was 40 here we'd need a sweater & coat. Its 80 today with some clouds & just north of here 120 miles or so its raining. Wish we had the Cobra here but summer will come in Wisc. I think.
We start driving north in 2 weeks so we expect some cold yet.

Chris,

Are you going to show us all the secret to the immaculate engine compartment?

Pretty please? :D

If you need a dirty engine compartment for a before and after effect I got a good candidate ;)

Thanks for the offer Dave but I don't think I will have time to demonstrate that. I did however plan on at least touching on that subject and was going to bring a product sample to show.

I am guestimating 3 to 4 hours depending on the number of questions. There will be printed material to take home with you so if you miss part of the demonstration, you will still have something for reference.

Hey Chris:

If you're looking for some help next time you have to buy a case of that CD-2 two step engine compartment cleaner/sealer, I will gladly take a couple (or several) pairs of cans off your hands. Just let me know!!

That stuff is awesome!!!

Animal - Guests are always welcome!

Chris - Got any ideas on how to reverse a rusting problem? If so, I could bring in Trusty Tommy Taurus for a demonstration! :D

BTW, I'll be there :hrs:

LOL, I'm not a miracle worker! (BTW, I think you have one too many T's in "Trusty")

animal - what Terry said, I assume you're talking about Evan? We should actually have a couple of new faces on Saturday.

Yeah it's Evan. I'm gettin him near the breaking point on joining national :)

Did you see they are nearing release of the Diablo Predator for the L? it is a programmer that can replace all aspects of the chip, and it works through odb2. Retunes can be downloaded via email and installed by the end user. You also have limited control over fuel curve. Timing is locked, but you can adjust fuel curve by 5%.

Might just be the tool I've been looking for :)

I'm with you on the weather :bash: but I don't think it will be bad enough to call it off. Your trip will not be wasted. :D
