MCSCC High Speed AX - Saturday, June 22

This event is at the 2.2 mile road course at Blackhawk Farms Raceway, located SW of South Beloit IL. Be there at 7 AM for tech if you plan to run. The event is the 2nd AX of 5 events and is sponsored by Madison Sports Car Club (MSCC), one of 9 clubs in MCSCC. They put on a good event. An old fashoined cook out is Saturday night ($5), plus a beer tasting contest. Cost of event is $90 ($75 for MC members). The morning is high speed practice, by performance groups, with available instructors, and PM is time trials. The national Neon Club will be present (Contour SE\'s kill them :))

Long sleeve cotton shirts and a \'90 Snell helmet required. If you have some modifications to your car, then a 5 point harness is pobably required. Convertibles require roll bars.

My buddy ran this event with his Probe. Took first in CP! I can hear the Z28 owners whining already. MSCC had 170 entries! There were over 20 members from the national Neon club. With that many entries, I wonder if everybody got 3 or 4 timed runs (I forgot to ask).:s

Dont doubt them Probes... those things handle like a wet dream.
