Space Shuttle Columbia explodes over Texas....

If you have not yet seen the news, we have lost the Columbia and crew, as the craft came apart or exploded over Texas this morning.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the surviving families.

This will a vary sad day!!

With all the conflicts we have have going on in the world for this to happen now. This will be a sad year. No telling how this will effect of space missions in the feture.

I can remember when the first shuttle exploded after take off. I was living in florida at the time and was driving from Lakeland back to Tampa, I pulled off at a rest stop and could see the debre in the sky. It was hard to imagen what had happened then and this bring back meny memorys.
