internet virus attack,

I hope everone is aware of the attack on the internet, there is this vrius that is clogging up the internet. sending 120mb. between servers every second.
I have not been able to get into the national message board and several other web site. I bet Greg is bussy today.

This board is running very slow. Its really depressing that there are people out there that come up with ways to disrupt the internet. I am on cable and its like being on a 9k modem again.

I was wondering what was happening. Not being the sharpest with this computer I thought I was doing something wrong. Why would someone do that? What do they gain?
