The North Woods Shelby Club is holding a "Beat the Heat" drag event on Friday, June 25 at Wisconsin International Raceway in Kaukauna. The cost will be $25 per vehicle and $5 for spectators or $15 for a carload. The gates open at 4:00pm, timed runs start at about 4:30 and the track closes at 10:00pm. Tech and helmet inspections are mandatory and a driveshaft loop is required for vehicles with slicks. Convertibles must have a roll bar. Enter through the drag racing entrance on Loderbauer Road.
