The Masterpiece Style and Speed Showcase is a full weekend of automotive events with a Saturday Club Day including American Power, European Sports and World-class Exotica. Local and regional car clubs will display their finest. On Sunday, there will be a Concours d’Elegance honoring history’s most beautiful cars. As a club, WISVTOA will be participating in the Saturday Club Day. The event is Saturday August 22 from 10:00am until 4:00pm. The location is Veteran’s Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront north of the Milwaukee Art Museum/south of the Milwaukee Yacht Club. Pre-registration is required. A $15 per vehicle registration fee includes two exhibitor passes good for the entire Masterpiece weekend, including a continental breakfast for two on Saturday. For more information, including the registration form, visit the website at www.milwaukeemasterpiece.com. Once registered, you will be notified regarding load-in and out times and parking. Of course, we will park as a group. This, by all accounts, is a very good show, and is an opportunity for WISVTOA to showcase the club and our vehicles. Hope to see you at the event.

With 10 Member Cars we were well represented. Each club was provided a shelter and the participants and their guest were treated to a continental breakfast. Weather was not to cooperative, being windy and in the low 60's, but it did not rain and only a couple of us suffered any frostbite.

As participants Saturday we were provided two free pass's to the Sunday show. Weather Sunday was cool but sunny and the event was well attended. Cars displayed were mostly antique or high end collectables, many of which are seldom seen other that at a museum. Well worth the visit and I would encourage anyone who enjoys automotive history not to miss this event next year.

I really wanted to be there to support the club, but we had a bona-fide emergency at GLD and my presence was required all weekend... Sorry I missed you guys. I saw the news coverage...
