Our little get-together at Griffin was great. Chris organized this and the turn-out was excellent. Unfortunately for Chris, he was not able to attend. [Hope you're feeling better !]. It was good to associate some new faces with names (and their cars). :)

The cars on display for Show and Tell were all DOHC V8s:
- Two 03 Cobras. One member-owned Black with a Magnaflow cat-back; one unsold Red Fire.
- Two 03 Machs. Both in Azure Blue; One member-owned and one unsold (headed for the Milwaukee Auto Show)
- One 00 R-model. #177 of 300. Nice car Bruce!

Thanks to all that attended. Along with the pizzas (courtesy of Griffin Ford), it was a great way to break-up some of those winter blues.

I did not get a count of people but we did consume 4 large pizzas and almost dozen annual chapter membership forms were completed. Marv had his digital camera from Sanata Claus out for the first time and may have some images he could share with us.

Mach 1 with the shaker hood was awesome. Unfortunately the 4.6 is such a smoth runner removal of a plug wire or two is necessary to get any real action going at idle.

We did some informal comparisons between the exhaust notes of the stock 03 Cobra, Cobra R, Mach 1, and the 03 Cobra with a cat back Magna Flow system. The Magnaflow was in my opinion clearly the most spirited sounding and is a very appealing modification. The stock 03 Cobra was the quietest of the cars with the others falling somewhere in between.

Great event, however we should toss out the soda and bring in some Miller:beer: . Anyone remember the name of the performance shop out in Madison? I NEED to change some things, starting with the exhaust.

I have success with a couple of shops in Waukesha if you are interested in trying someone local . I had my 4.10s installed by Kilpatrick. I also have a friend that works at KR Auto. Both these shop are performance oriented.

Guys, I would have loved to show up, but had just got back from California, and I REALLY missed my wife and kids. I also got a little sick while out there and I was just not up to it. I will do my best to make it to the next one though...!!

I had a great time at the meeting:) . It was nice to see the Mustangs and Cobras, and I really enjoyed the sound comparison between the stock 03 Cobra:( ,the better sounding Mach 1,the still better sounding 00 R ,and the best sound the Magnaflow 03 Cobra:) .
For all you 03 Cobra owners the Magnaflow with the stock
cat h-pipe sounded awesome on the road,a nice deep sound, not to loud just a nice rumble when cruising.
It was good to see so many new members attending. What a fun low key time,a great winter change of pace, just talking cars and shooting the bull.
Allso thanks to Griffen for supplying the food and drink:beer: .
See you all at the Daytona Party:D .

Rats, I totally forgot about this. D'oh!

I would love to see that Redfire '03 Cobra, but I might just like it a little too much, and between what I'd lose on my SS, and the increased car payment, I'd probably have to live in it, and at my age I'm not ready for that. Maybe 20 years ago...;)

I gotta make the February meet.
