Volo Cruise and Car Show - Postponed to June 14 - Griffin FLM - 8:00am

The 6th Annual Shelby/Cobra/Mustang show scheduled for tomorrow at the Volo Museum has been postponed due to bad weather. The rain date is next Sunday, June 14. Registration begins at 10:00am and the show runs from 10:00am until 4:00pm. The $20 registration fee includes museum admission. Let's reschedule and plan to meet at 8:00am next Sunday morning at Griffin. We will cruise through the lake country of northern Illinois. The Volo museum contains many unique and interesting cars, including movie and TV vehicles. Hope to see you on the 14th.

Alan, Greg, Kevin and Bonnie, John and Josie, Conrad and Eric, Dick and Joanne, Dave, and Ron and Don participated. What a cruise! The weather was super and there were alot of extremely nice cars. The show itself needs alittle more organization, but they promise corrections for next year. I also talked to Mr. Victor, owner of Victor Ford and he may have his show again next year, but at the Volo grounds. Congratulations to Dave Hedtcke for winning 1st place in the 1995 - present Mustang category. This was the largest class and contained some very nice vehicles. Dave, it must have been the carbon fiber hood!
