Autometer Phantom Boost guage mounted on steering column (I used a BLUE bulb with a green condom over it so it looks very close to the stock gauges at night)
Front license plate bracket has never been mounted.
OEM Floor Mats Included.
Radar Dectector is hardwired into the info center. If you currently have a Cobra, just plug it in.
OEM windshield has been replaced. Current one has tint, whereas the OEM did not.
2 keys & 2 key fobs included (both with working batteries)
Speed Control Recall completed earlier this year.
The OEM Wiper blades have been upgraded from 20" to 22" for better coverage. The Silblades that are currently on the truck have a 5 year warranty. Blades and frames are covered.


The truck was in an accident in March of this year. Some moron in a Saturn crossed over the center line going about 30mph as I was coasting to a red light and slid under the drivers side bumper. $2K in damage. His ins. refused to pay for a new bumper. All the work is warranted for life. Tony's Auto Body in Oshkosh did the repair. Very reputable shop.

I have all the stock parts for the truck, except for the OEM exhuast.

$18,000...The truck is garaged with plenty of lighting to see everything and yes the garage can be heated for your viewing pleasure.

Update...The L now has a brand new set of Nitto 555's. What a difference compared to the F1's! I had the ALINGMENT checked at the time the tires were mounted. NO ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED. The Cooling system was flushed this week along with the intercooler fluid changed:rkon:

I've seen this truck in person and it IS impressive. If I had the $'s now and the need for a unique, fun truck... boy I would be so all over this.

+1 Thanks for the compliment! Your Bank or Credit Union will have no problem borrowing 18K for an 04 SVTL with 14,000 miles that will require limited reconditioning if any at all. You will have positive equity when you drive away. How many times does that happen?

With gas prices dropping & suppose to go lower that can not be a issue.
I would think anyone who wants a L would jump on this one.
I would think u will be getting some offers soon. If gas stays down this spring you should get more interest too.

Most consumers know that this is best time of year to buy a Lightning, Cobra etc. What I am saying is that I can assure you that price will change if I still have it come Spring.

Let jump on this bandwagon by saying it's as good as everyone says it is. I would be sad to see it go but you do what you got to. Excellent truck with both dog tags on bed and engine, as well as all SVT stickers. Only problem with it is a whining sound coming from the engine I think???

Even though we have record snow on the ground, you can still test drive the L. The truck currently has Mickey Thompson 16 x 8 Polished wheels with Winterforce 235-70/16 tires. The same size as the spare. The L handles great and even looks great with the wheels and tires. It is a truck and more reliable than a beater with a heater:D

Just checked another site and some 2004's are selling for $22-$25K with similar mods and miles. Most have more miles. I just want to sell it and I am not looking to make a killer profit on the sale. I don't want to see it at my local Ford dealer as I drive by it on my way to work:eek:

Have you tried listing this in other forums. You could try listing your L in

3. Lightning Rodder http://lightningrodder.com/

I'm sure your aware of these sites and listing for sale items are free and all the above sites have national exposure where as this site is focused in the southern Wisconsin area. I would give one or all three of them a shot; more exposure for your L. Good luck in selling your L but this comming spring would give you a better chance of selling it.

I am no longer an SVT owner. It was real owning the Lightning. Probably won't own anything like it again, unless I get another one:D I can say I had 2 SVT's.
The other being an SVTF (Sonic Blue) with a Magnaflow, CAI and illegally tinted glass, hey just like the L 20%:D

2 other guys close by have L's, so I can always go and bug them or whatever. 1 has yet to exp. the Icebreaker so maybe he will attend.
