I saw the new Mach I last evening. SVT national invited four of us down to Marchetti\'s Pizzaria in Chicago to visit with the GT-40 production team and to review the Heritage Tour.

The GT 40 is beautiful. They kept very true to the image of the original Mark III. The car will be powered by a supercharged 5.4 :o. It was White, with Blue. The only other gen II 40 in existence is on its way to Paris for the international auto show.

The Thunderbird, Lightning and Cobra were \"old news\". The Mach I had a lot of lookers. Personally, I like the seats better than those in the Cobra\'s, past and present. The funtional hood soop is very cool. It will be a hit on the street (and strip). I wonder how many will compet in high-speed AX? :)

The Ford 49er was hit also. It is a very attractive car, and could easily be justified for purchase due to its practicality. Unfortunately, ther is not much hope for future production \"unless the Ford GT 40\" program takes off better than expected\".

The Heritage Tour will be at Cordova this weekend.
