Build Plate

A few years ago I had to replace the short block on an 03 cobra, under warranty. When they (Griffin) swapped the short block they took the original build plate with it. This build plate is the badge of authenticity, with builders signatures and number that the car came off the line. I never thought to ask Griffin to remove the plate before they swapped the short blocks. Now I am trying desperately to track one down. I have tried Griffin, called SVTOA and several salvage yards. No luck! Anyone out there have any suggestions on where to find or start looking for a build plate?

Try calling SVT at 800.367.3788 unless you were just mixed up between SVTOA and SVT in your post.

You might want to try Ebay. I've seen them on there from time to time. Not cheap though. I don't have any at the present time. :wtf:

I was wondering what they are worth? Never thought that this would be something that someone might steal if the hood was opened.
